As the curtain rises, Henry Oscill, CEO of Oscillex Luxury Watches, is unveiling his latest triumph: the Delta-29, a brilliantly engineered watch that effectively “stops time” for the wearer by slowing down the aging process.  During the presentation, an agent from the notorious Secret Coalition for Revenge, Assassination, Terrorism, Counterintelligence, and Heists (S.C.RA.T.C.H.) breaks in, and ace spy Nick Steele races after him.  The chase evolves into a dance, opening up into the seedy, swirling world of 1960s espionage.  Meanwhile, the leader of S.C.R.A.T.C.H. waits at a shadowy back table of The Tempo Club, where singer Ann takes the stage.

On a typical morning at The Agency, receptionist Sympathy Jones is turned down for a promotion once again.  Frustrated, she laments the fact that she's stuck behind a desk instead of out in the field.

Nick, David, Mr. Pinkerton
The impossibly arrogant ace spy Nick Steele, a little worse for wear after an encounter with evil S.C.R.A.T.C.H. agents, limps into the Agency office on crutches.  He is closely followed by fellow spy David Hunter, who tries to look professional but suffers from a palpable lack of confidence.   The two have been summoned for a meeting with Agency director Mr. Pinkerton, who puts David in charge of the case due to Nick's injury.

Sympathy, secretly pursuing the S.C.R.A.T.C.H. case, gets some help from her best friend Caprice at the Department of Disguisement.  Properly outfitted for her mission, she is ready to foil villainess Kitty Hawk's plan to take over the world!

At the S.C.R.A.T.C.H. compound in Pestilential Bay, Long Island, villainess Kitty Hawk waits impatiently while her henchman Tick Tock perfects a time-stopping bomb.  When Kitty inadvertently hurts Tick Tock’s feelings, she must assure him that she values their evil partnership.

A Story
Sympathy
When Sympathy discovers some vital information, David agrees to let her accompany him and together they break into Kitty Hawk's secret hideout.  When David is captured, Sympathy barely makes it out of the compound to a secluded spot amongst the craggy rocks.  Scared, she radios The Agency for help.  Mr. Pinkerton orders Sympathy to stay put until a fresh batch of agents arrive.  Sympathy contemplates her situation and decides to venture back into the compound to help David before it’s too late.

Sympathy returns to the compound, where she and David launch an ambush on the S.C.R.A.T.C.H. agents to halt detonation of the bomb.  While David and Tick Tock are knocked out in the scuffle, villainess and heroine face off.  Kitty tries to tempt Sympathy to join her...
